The Australian Ecolabel Program is dedicated to improving the environmental performance of Australian industry. The Programs standards are based on LCA data when it is available from an Australian perspective.

The below resources can aid in identifying the environmental loads of a product along the life cycle as a first step in designing products which don't cost the Earth.

Australian LCA Resources:

The premier Life Cycle Assessment inventory datasets for Australia have been released as draft versions by RMIT.

Industrial Ecology Principles

Design for Environment is an ongoing program of Environment Australia.
