Today urban boomerang manufactures its products in Reservoir Victoria, with products retailed nationally. The haul range of accessories caters for the tourist market and younger age groups, and sold with an emphasis on innovative design and their environmental performance attributes. All urban boomerang products are manufactured from or contain recycled materials sourced from a wide variety of commercial waste and by-products otherwise destined for landfill. These include old PVC advertising banners and recycled truck-tyre inner tubes. After a comprehensive assessment undertaken by the Australian Environmental Labelling Association the haul range of accessories have been awarded a  Good Environmental Choice Licence. 2.   Description of the verification. The Australian Environmental Labelling Association Inc. manages the Good Environmental Choice – Mark of Conformity in conformance to ISO 14 024 – International Standard for Third party Environmental Labelling and Declaration as the only product life cycle independent environmental declaration in Australia (www.aela.org.au).  The organization is an independent non-profit environmental research and certification organization recognised as the Australian member of an international network of ecolabelling schemes under the Global Ecolabelling Network.  The Eco-label is awarded to those products that meet or exceed voluntary standards of environmental performance. The verification procedure is managed via a Documented Quality Management System and Certification Program Manuals which have made significant use of the ISO 14 000 series. No breaches of local environmental regulations have been found by AELA in its assessment of Urban Boomerang nor have any been submitted by the manufacturer. Urban Boomerang Pty Ltd complies with all relevant social regulations, including occupational health and safety, employee remuneration and anti-discrimination.
