Levels of volatile
organic
compounds
Volatile Organic
Compounds (VOC's),
the term used to
describe solvents and
other chemicals in
the adhesive which

adverse air toxicity
pollution. The
amount of solvent
varies across the
different types of
adhesive. Adhesive
products shall
contain no more than
5% in weight of
Volatile Organic
Compounds.
In a volatile of organic compounds assessment conducted by a recognised Laboratory, 6 samples were tested (3 PVA, 3 XL PVA). The results found the range of volatile are between 1.42% - 3.33%. These levels are below GECA standards.
