promulgated by the Plastics and Chemical Industry Association
must be marked on each individual recycled plastic products or

Wilkahn Australian has undertaken an extensive

The chairs under assessment do not include any
powder coating finishes which are a particular concern in
relation to this criterion. An inspection of MSDS’s for
adhesives, foam and other components and finishes found none of
the substances mentioned on this criterion are used in the
nominated product range. Evidence for this criterion was based
on an observation of the material characteristics of components,
and evidence provided by key component manufacturers. |
|
Formaldehyde Emissions
GECA requirement are <0.3mg/l |

criterion. |

as additives in the production of the product line under
verification. |

brominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants ,analine based
